What is Rehab Reformer Pilates?
Our Rehab Reformer Pilates is a movement-based therapy approach combining the principles of traditional Pilates with the clinical knowledge of injury rehabilitation and body mechanics. Sessions are led by qualified, clinically trained instructors who tailor each exercise to your specific needs, goals, and limitations.
How is this different from regular Pilates or gym classes?
Unlike large, generalised fitness classes, our sessions are small (4 clients max), focused, and carefully modified for individuals dealing with injuries or movement dysfunction. Every session is outcome-driven, meaning we prioritise technique, safety, and long-term results over repetition or intensity.
Do I need to be injured to join?
Not at all. While many of our clients are in active rehab or managing chronic conditions, others join to prevent injury, improve posture, or learn how to move more intelligently. If you value personalised guidance and rehab-trained instruction, this is the place for you.
What should I wear and bring?
Wear comfortable, stretchy clothing that allows freedom of movement. Grip socks are required in the studio for hygiene and safety (available for purchase if needed). Bring a water bottle and any recent reports (e.g. from your physio or specialist) if relevant to your injury or condition.
What if I have specific injuries or limitations?
That’s exactly why we keep our groups small. Our instructors work closely with you to adapt and modify every movement. We welcome clients with injuries, surgical history, or chronic conditions — and we’ll work collaboratively with your existing healthcare team where appropriate.
How do I know which session is right for me?
It doesn’t matter if you are a beginner, intermediate, or advanced pilates practitioner. Our instructors are happy to help and upon signing up, you’ll be guided to the most appropriate session based on your goals, condition, and experience level.
